About these Terms and Conditions 

The information below tells you how you can participate in the Green Room programme (the “Programme”) on a personal, non-commercial basis.These terms and conditions (“Terms”) set out important information regarding your rights and obligations, and the restrictions that may apply when you apply for, and participate in, the Programme.

References to “you”, “your”, or “Participant” are to you as an applicant or participant of the Programme. References to “we”, “us”, “our”, or “ITV” are to the provider of the Programme, which is ITV Services Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 00229607) with registered office at ITV White City, 201 Wood Lane, London, United Kingdom, W12 7RU. References to “FTVC” are to the collaborative partner of the Programme, which is the Film and TV Charity, with registered office at 22 Golden Square, London, United Kingdom, W1F 9AD. References to “ITV Premises” are to the ITV White City office, or such other ITV offices as notified to the Participants by ITV from time to time.

Please read the Terms (and any applicable third party terms and privacy policies) carefully before applying for or participating in the Programme. By accessing, applying for, and continuing to participate in the Programme, you agree to be legally bound by the version of these Terms in force at that time. If you do not agree with any of our Terms then you should not use the Programme.


Will these Terms change?

Please note that we may update and amend these Terms from time to time and the current version of these terms will be posted on the website. The version of these Terms that is current at the time you use the Programme will apply to your participation in the Programme. It is your responsibility to ensure you review these Terms regularly to familiarise yourself with any changes. Your use of, or participation in, the Programme following any such changes will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms


Will any other terms apply to the Programme?

In addition to these Terms, the following terms and conditions may also apply to your participation in the Programme:

Programme-specific Terms: You may be asked to agree to additional terms and conditions by ITV, FTVC or a relevant third party ("Additional Terms and Conditions") when using specific services as part of the Programme, for example, before submitting materials, accessing websites, or using any of our content. Please read through all additional terms and conditions carefully.

Data Protection Terms: Please read our Privacy and Cookie Notice, which contains important information about how ITV and FTVC use any personal information about you that it receives through your participation in the Programme. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and the terms of our Privacy and Cookie Notice, these Terms will prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.

Third Party Terms: Certain content and services provided as part of the Programme may be hosted, managed, and operated by a third party, including but not limited to content provided by FTVC (“Third Party Content”). These third parties are solely responsible for all aspects of any use of their content or services. These third parties may have their own terms and conditions and/or privacy policies. Your use of such Third Party Content will be governed by their terms and conditions and/or privacy policies, we therefore recommend that you read such terms and conditions and/or privacy policies and you agree to comply with them.


Responsibility for the availability and content of the Programme

The Programme is a pilot scheme and is made available to you by ITV, in collaboration with FTVC. We may modify or withdraw the Programme, or the period during which it is available, at any time at our sole and absolute discretion. We may do this without notice to you. We have absolute editorial control over the Programme (including all the material and/or content made available by ITV via the Programme) at all times.


Programme Details

The Programme will consist of the following elements: 

  • Workspace Access: Access to ITV Premises once per week, on a date and at a time set out by ITV, to work, connect, and have lunch together with other Participants;
  • Training & Development: “Lunch and learn" sessions delivered by ITV covering topics which may include resilience and understanding your strengths;
  • Mentoring: Up to three (3) dedicated coaching sessions with an ITV mentor, selected by ITV, to help support your career progression on dates set out by ITV; and
  • Workshops & Networking: Three (3) in-person workshops delivered in conjunction with ITV Academy, ITV’s production training and development branch, on topics which may include an industry futures insight day and networking with ITV Studios label representatives, ITV Studios Talent Managers and Commissioners (where available) on dates and times set out by ITV.

The Programme will commence on Tuesday 27th January 2026 and continue until Tuesday 28th April 2026 (inclusive) (the “Programme Duration”). 

The Programme will include weekly access to ITV Premises on each Tuesday throughout the Programme Duration. Timings, dates, and locations for all elements of the Programme will be as notified by ITV to the Participants from time to time. 

ITV reserves the right to modify or substitute any content of the Programme at its sole discretion, and will endeavour to notify Participants as soon as reasonably practicable in the event of any modification to the Programme. Please be aware that whilst ITV will endeavour to match mentors and mentees based on suitability and compatibility of roles, ITV reserves the right to substitute any mentor at any time, subject to availability. 

The Programme, including any content provided by ITV, is provided to you for personal, non-commercial use only. All intellectual property rights in the Programme provided by ITV shall remain at all times the property of ITV. You agree that you will comply with our reasonable instructions regarding your participation in the Programme. You agree that you will not (and you will not allow any other person to) use the Programme for any purpose which is commercial, unlawful, or otherwise improper, and will only use the content provided in connection with the Programme. In particular, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or otherwise by us, you will not copy, download, modify, reproduce, display or otherwise distribute any content of the Programme, or create any works or materials derived from or based on the Programme, without our prior written permission. 

Participation in the Programme is at the Participant’s sole expense, however to assist with participation, ITV will provide each Participant with the following: 

  • One (1) lunch voucher for each day that a session is held in ITV Premises, to be used solely at the canteen in ITV Premises. This lunch voucher has no cash value and cannot be exchanged. Alternatively, ITV reserves the right to organise and provide catering for in-person workshop sessions.
  • Access to complimentary water and hot drinks on ITV Premises. 
  • One (1) £150 Oyster card to be used solely for the purposes of travelling to and from the ITV Premises for the Programme Duration. The Oyster card provided has no cash value and cannot be exchanged. Participants will be required to return the Oyster card, with any outstanding balance, to ITV upon completion of the Programme or in the event that a Participant leaves the Programme before completion.

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in the Programme, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old;
  • be available for the entire Programme Duration, save for gaining employment during the Programme Duration;
  • be a freelancer in the TV industry with at least five (5) years of experience in a behind-the-scenes role in the TV industry, currently not in employment or in a role, and looking for a new role;
  • have the right to work in the United Kingdom; and 
  • be available to attend the ITV White City Premises weekly for the Programme Duration.

Application and Selection Process

Applications to join the Programme can be made by submitting the form availablehere. FTVC operates the application form.

The Programme will open for application submissions at 09:00 on Thursday 11th December 2025 and will remain open until 23:59 on Monday 5th January 2026 (the “Application Period”). Applications received after the Application Period has closed will not be considered. 

ITV, in conjunction with FTVC, will select up to twenty (20) Participants to participate in this pilot scheme of the Programme. Applications will be reviewed by a panel of assessors from across different ITV teams and FTVC. The panel’s decision in relation to the selection of Participants will be final. Participants will be selected based on an objective consideration of the following elements: 

  • Eligibility; 
  • Availability of compatible mentors; and
  • Compatibility between the applicant’s expectations and the goals of the Programme.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by Friday 16th January 2026.

Participation

Participants will be expected to be available for the Programme Duration and to attend all sessions where possible. 

In the event that it is not possible to attend a session, Participants should prioritise workshop and training sessions, and should provide ITV with as much advance notice as possible if they are unable to attend. 

If a Participant receives a job offer within the Programme Duration and is unable to continue with the Programme, the Participant will complete an end of Programme evaluation interview with an independent qualitative evaluator before exiting the Programme. 

Photography and videography may be used during the Programme. Photographs or video content featuring Participants may be used for promotional and marketing purposes, subject to Participants’ express permission. 

If a Participant raises concerns about their wellbeing during the Programme, including during a session or to their assigned mentor, ITV will support in providing the Participant with contact details of FTVC. ITV will not be able to provide individualised support.


Evaluation

We are operating this Programme as a pilot and would like to receive feedback from Participants on all elements of the Programme. As such, ITV may use feedback given in written or oral form by Participants throughout the Programme Duration, including as part of the end of Programme evaluation interview, to discuss and assess the Programme, and to inform decisions about the future of the Programme, without further permission from the relevant Participant. Any information shared as part of this evaluation will be collected and used in accordance with our Privacy and Cookie Notice. Feedback collected from Participants will only be shared publicly with the relevant Participant’s express permission.
